The Martha Jackson Collection at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery
November 21, 1975–January 4, 1976
This exhibition featured paintings, drawings, and sculptures gifted by David Anderson and his wife in memory of his mother Martha Jackson, a native Buffalonian, prescient art dealer, and close friend of many of the most significant contemporary artists of her era who worked tirelessly as an advocate for the museum for twenty-five years until her sudden death in 1969.
