Buffalo AKG members help to create meaningful experiences with art for everyone. In turn, members become part of an essential community supporters, with exclusive opportunities to access the museum and build deeper connections with the artworks in the collection.

Gift Membership Promotion

Expand their creativity this holiday season! When you gift a Buffalo AKG membership, you’re giving them a year’s worth of free admission; exclusive events and exhibition previews; discounts on retail, dining, and classes; and so much more.  

Beginning November 29, each onsite gift membership purchaser receives a special gift to keep or share (while supplies last).

Please allow up to 14 business days to receive your gift membership in the mail. To ensure delivery before December 24, please place your order by December 9.

Membership Levels and Benefits

Every Buffalo AKG membership includes:

  • Free admission to the museum’s collection and special exhibitions  
  • Invitations to exclusive members’ previews and events 
  • Early access to advance timed-admission reservations online while tickets available
  • At least one complimentary one-time use guest pass (number of passes increases by level)
  • Invitations and discounted tickets to After Hours, a special series designed to take you behind-the-scenes at the museum
  • 15% discount on youth and adult Studio Classes
  • Subscriptions to the Buffalo AKG’s bi-monthly members’ calendar and monthly email newsletter 
  • Member parking rate, subject to availability
  • 10% discount in the Shop and on dining at the museum (some exclusions may apply) 
  • Buffalo AKG Art Museum window decal 
  • A one-year (10-issue print) subscription to Buffalo Spree magazine for $10 (regular rate $16)
  • 10% discount at participating local businesses (some restrictions may apply) 
  • Reciprocal admission to more than thirty museums across New York State through the Empire State Museums Reciprocal Program (some restrictions may apply)

Donor Circles

The Donor Circles are a social and cultural gateway to the Buffalo AKG, connecting your philanthropic support with unique experiences. Whether you are a long-time art lover or new to the art world, a Donor Circles membership will deepen your relationship with the Buffalo AKG and Buffalo’s arts community.

Every Donor Circles membership includes:

  • Core member benefits and discounts for two adults and any children under 18 in the household 
  • The opportunity to add an additional, third adult to the membership for only $25
  • Ten complimentary one-time use guest passes ($180 value)
  • Opportunities to join dinners and welcome receptions for visiting artists
  • The opportunity to participate in the  Director’s Travel Series
