The Buffalo AKG Art Museum is committed to engaging each of the many communities throughout Western New York. In addition to the more visible modes of community outreach listed below, the Buffalo AKG incorporates guidance and feedback from community members at every level of operations, with the goal of creating a more inclusive, more welcoming, and more accessible museum for everyone in our region.
Albright-Knox Northland
From January 17, 2020, through June 5, 2022, we hosted exhibitions and events at Albright-Knox Northland, a project space located at 612 Northland Avenue in Buffalo.
Art Truck
We will be directing our efforts toward developing plans for exciting new ways to bring the Buffalo AKG’s Learning & Creativity programming into the community. As a result, we are no longer accepting community requests for the Art Truck at this time. We look forward to sharing our plans with you and working together in the future!
Community Speakers Program
Bring the Buffalo AKG Art Museum to you! Our staff members can come to you to present on various topics related to art and museums. Speaking engagements are one hour and can be fulfilled within a 20-mile radius from the museum.
