Group Experiences
We offer group experiences for various audiences, including K–12 students, college students, adults, and people with disabilities. We also offer daily public tours of our collection and special exhibitions.
Group Visits and Tours
Groups of adults, college students, and community youth between ten and sixty people are invited to schedule a self-guided visit or docent-guided tour of the collection and/or our special exhibitions. Add artmaking to your tour experience and take home a beautiful reminder of your visit to the museum!
Art’scool: School Tours
Bring your students to the Buffalo AKG for an hour-long experience that sparks curiosity, encourages dialogue, and builds social-emotional skills by connecting them with art and to each other.
Public Tours
Led by our incredible docents, public tours at the Buffalo AKG take visitors through the collection and special exhibitions. More of a guided conversation in the galleries than a traditional lecture, our interactive tours share surprising stories and fun facts in addition to encouraging visitors to form their own personal connections with the art on view and the museum.
Access Programs
Our Access Programs include Community Access Program (CAP) for organizations working with under-resourced groups and people with disabilities, Multisensory Tours for adults who are blind or have low vision, and Art Today for people with dementia and their care partners.
