This exhibition consisted of 105 works by the pioneer Constructivist artist Naum Gabo. It was part of Plus by Minus: Today's Half Century, an an exhibition of 333 works by 92 artists organized in conjunction with the second Buffalo Festival of the Arts Today.

Organized as part of the second Buffalo Festival of the Arts Today, Plus by Minus: Today's Half Century was the largest exhibition of nonobjective abstract art to date, featuring three hundred thirty-three works by ninety-two artists.

This marked the first time the Albright-Knox’s recent acquisition, Lucas Samaras’s Room No. 2 (popularly known as the Mirrored Room), 1966, was on view, where it quickly became a perennial visitor favorite.

Contemporary Art: Acquisitions 1962–1965 featured works added to the collection between 1962 and 1965.

This exhibition celebrated Clyfford Still's historic gift of 31 paintings to the Albright-Knox in 1964.

Organized as part of the Festival of the Arts Today, Art Today: Kinetic and Optic was the first museum exhibition in the United States to feature both Kinetic and Op art.

Contemporary British Paintings and Sculpture included forty-eight works from the Albright-Knox’s collection, many of which were recent acquisitions, and twenty-four loans.

Mixed Media and Pop Art was divided into three sections: works in mixed media, Pop artwork, and works by Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg, which combined aspects of both mixed media and Pop art.

The museum's annual Western New York exhibitions, begun in 1934, invited local artists to submit their work for presentation and prizes.

Gifts to the Albright-Knox Art Gallery from A. Conger Goodyear recognized Goodyear’s half-century of devotion to the museum and the significant role he played in the shaping and expanding the museum’s collection.

This exhibition, organized by the artist, was Clyfford Still's first large-scale survey exhibition.

Selections from the Seymour H. Knox Collection of Contemporary Arts and Recent Gifts featured seventeen recent gifts to the museum from Knox.
