In late 2019, museum leaders and elected officials broke ground on the construction of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Our construction manager, Gilbane Building Company, has completed the steel frame of the new Jeffrey E. Gundlach Building and is now focusing on enclosures and interior work. The Buffalo AKG is scheduled to open in June 2023.
