Sculpture Terrace

Designed by world-renowned architect Shohei Shigematsu of OMA, the new Jeffrey E. Gundlach Building provides stunning panoramic views of Buffalo’s Olmsted Parks. The building’s second floor, 360-degree Sculpture Terrace, is perfect for cocktail receptions and seated dinners.

Lyke Family Sculpture Court

The Lyke Family Sculpture Court, located in the historic Robert and Elisabeth Wilmers Building, is an elegant space full of striking neoclassical architecture, offering an inspiring setting for both cocktail receptions and seated dinners. Please note, this space is only available when not occupied by an exhibition.

Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Town Square

The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Town Square, located in the historic Seymour H. Knox Building, is a unique space perfect for cocktail receptions, seated dinners, and dancing. Guests will enjoy themselves amid Common Sky, a monumental artwork of glass and mirrors designed by Olafur Eliasson and Sebastian Behmann of Studio Other Spaces.

Cornelia

The AKG’s restaurant, Cornelia, located in the historic Seymour H. Knox Building, provides an intimate gathering place for both seated luncheons and dinners, as well as cocktail receptions and overlooks the  Firelei Báez’s site-specific installation, Chorus of the Deep (something ephemeral and beautifully whole, when seen from the edge of one’s vision, too full when taken head on), 2023—a thirty-foot-long abstract glass mosaic—adorns this warm, contemporary space.

Stanford and Judith Lipsey Auditorium

The Lipsey Auditorium, located in the historic Seymour H. Knox Building, provides a serene setting for lectures, presentations, panel discussions, screenings, and performances. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with natural light and offer remarkable views of the AKG campus and surrounding Olmsted Parks.
