Our Team
As Peggy Pierce Elfvin Director Janne Sirén often says, we work in the company of rock stars.
Our staff members, interns, volunteers, and board members come from varied backgrounds, but we are all united by our passion for art, and our dedication to sharing the Buffalo AKG Art Museum’s treasures with as many people as possible. We also count our members; our Convergence Council; and our individual, foundation, and corporate supporters as part of our all-star team.
National Council
As part of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum’s quest for meaningful and impactful collaborations, the museum has established a National Council. This new group brings together the voices and viewpoints of visionary individuals from across the United States to support and steward the Buffalo AKG, one of the most renowned museums of modern and contemporary art in the world.
