The works presented in this installation are perhaps Blake’s best-known and finest achievements. Executed in a progressive style, Blake’s prints are akin to expressionist and surreal images of the 20th century.

This survey of Laylah Ali’s recent work, organized in collaboration with the Atlanta College of Art in Georgia, included more than 25 works from Ali's renowned Greenheads series.

Modigliani and the Artists of Montparnasse featured 56 works by Amedeo Modigliani, including works from the Albright-Knox’s collection, alongside works by his fellow artists living in Paris.

While Katz established himself as one of the leading American painters of the 20th century, his woodcuts and linocuts are the perfect medium to explore his fascination with appearance, perception, and representation.

For more than two decades, the Albright-Knox celebrated the efforts of Western New York artists with a biennial exhibition. The museum hosted its 13th biennial regional exhibition in 2002, which provided an opportunity for the museum’s curators to showcase contemporary work by area artists working in all media.
