Recently the Albright-Knox Art Gallery opened Robert Indiana: A Sculpture Retrospective. The exhibition provides an in-depth exploration of one of America’s best known, but least understood artists. 

Recently the Albright-Knox Art Gallery's Public Art Initiative began work on a new mural at 617 Fillmore Avenue by artist Wojciech Kołacz, also known as Otecki (Polish, born 1984).

The artists in this exhibition, including Josef Albers, Tauba Auerbach, Robert Barry, Amanda Means, and Kim Tschang-Yeul, have used many different strategies to draw attention to the act of perception and to encourage us to question the truth of our vision.

The Albright-Knox’s Public Art Initiative will soon begin a new project: Emotional Wayfinding by artist Stephen Powers. The Albright-Knox Art Gallery and University at Buffalo Art Galleries are pleased to co-present the special exhibition Introducing Tony Conrad: A Retrospective. The exhibition, which includes major artworks by Conrad installed at both institutions, opened at the UB Art Gallery (UBAG) Center for the Arts on February 8 and runs through May 26, and opens at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery March 3 and runs through May 27.
