Join us for a tour and in-gallery activities that focus on the special exhibition, Narsiso Martinez: From These Hands/De Estas Manos with Manager of School & Teacher Programs Lindsay Kranz. Discover how Martinez deploys a visual language frequently used to celebrate people in 18th and 19th-century artworks by reclaiming and celebrating the marginalized groups whose erasure so often leads to their disenfranchisement and struggle.

We’ll explore ways of integrating the themes of this exhibition into the classroom, through both play and SEL activities. CTLE credit will be available.

Space is limited; pre-registration is required. Please register online or at the Buffalo AKG at the admissions desk.
