Digital Assets Collection
The Buffalo AKG Art Museum currently cares for and manages an ever-growing collection of more than 375,000 born-digital and digitized assets in various formats. The primary function of the museum’s Digital Assets Collection is to create, collect, present, and interpret physical and digital items for historic preservation and distribution. Items in the Digital Assets Collection represent the history of the museum and document its collections, exhibitions, events, and leaders.
For further information on obtaining and using images of artworks within the museum’s Fine Art Collection or images of our buildings, programs, exhibitions, leaders, and historical materials, please see our Obtaining and Using Images guidelines or complete this form request. We kindly ask that you allow two to four weeks for a response from a member of the Imaging and Visual Resources Department.
