Digital Assets Collection
The Buffalo AKG Art Museum currently cares for and manages an ever-growing collection of more than 200,000 born-digital and digitized assets in various formats. The primary function of the museum’s Digital Assets Collection is to create, collect, present, and interpret physical and digital items for historic preservation and distribution. Items in the Digital Assets Collection represent the history of the museum and document its collections, exhibitions, events, and leaders.
Reference images of most artworks in our collection may be downloaded from our Search the Collection section. High-resolution images of artworks, as well as images of our buildings, exhibitions, events, and history are available upon request; please contact digitalassets@buffaloakg.org or one of our licensed vendors (listed on our Obtaining and Using Images page in the Images Not Online section). Due to our building of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, please allow two to four weeks for a response to your request. More about Obtaining and Using Images
