Kids' Classes
Children of all levels of experience are invited to sign up for art classes at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Registration is required. All supplies are provided. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled.

Kids' Studio (Ages 5–7)
Saturdays, May 10, and June 14, from 10:30 am–12 pm
$25 per class (Buffalo AKG Members save 15%)
Get messy and be creative in Studio B! Meet other budding artists, explore cool materials, and share your projects with others in the museum.
May 10—Dip & Dye: Use shibori to hand dye and upcycle a wearable garment
June 14—Plexi Glass Landscapes: Paint a colorful new work to hang on the window

Summer Camp for Teens: Art, Sewing, & Fashion (Ages 12–17)
July 21–25, 9 am–3 pm
$495 (Buffalo AKG Members save 15%)
Learn how to sew, design, and style upcycled garments and accessories inspired by art and artists! The curriculum is tailored to accommodate a range of skill levels and interests—no experience necessary. Campers will create one-of-a-kind garments and accessories, transforming second-hand clothing into wearable art. This week long camp is facilitated by Fashion Lab NY and concludes with a fashion show at the AKG!
