Join us for an afternoon of art and a friendly artmaking competition inspired by the reality cooking show, Chopped! Let’s explore how to use fun, play, and creativity as a catalyst for learning in the classroom with Manager of School & Tour Programs Lindsay Kranz and Learning through Play Coordinator Suzie Molnar.
We’ll begin with a gallery tour to dive into specific themes and topics that will be the “ingredients” used for the friendly artmaking “chopped” competition. We’ll then head into the studio for hands-on activities that will include three rounds inspired by specific artmaking tools and “ingredients” found during the tour. The winner will go home with a homemade crown and bragging rights to their fellow art teachers.
CTLE credit will be available. Space is limited; pre-registration is required. Please register online or at the Buffalo AKG at the admissions desk.
