Adults of all levels of experience are invited to sign up for art classes at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Registration is required. All supplies are provided. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled.

Yes, You Can Draw: A Beginner's Guide

Six-Week Series, Ages 16+

Thursdays, September 14, 21, and 28; October 5, 12, and 19 from 6–8 pm

Tour the galleries and take inspiration from works on paper in the collection. Explore your own drawing skills with a variety of materials and techniques such as charcoal, pastel, and pen and ink.

Paint Your Story: Intro to Oil Painting

Six-Week Series, Ages 16+

Thursdays, November 2, 9, 16, and 30; December 7 and 14 from 6–8 pm

Oil paints are one of the most popular painting mediums used by artists throughout the world. In this class, geared for beginners, create a personalized still life and explore the foundations of oil painting.
