Art Classes for Adults

Adults of all levels of experience are invited to sign up for art classes at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Registration is required. All supplies are provided. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled.

Tipsy Crafts

Ages 21+

Fridays, March 28, April 25, May 30, June 27, July 25, and August 29 from 6–7:30 pm 
$55 per class (Buffalo AKG members save 15%)

Treat yourself! Join us for fun make-and-take projects. Meet new crafters or sign up with a friend. Registration price includes one alcoholic beverage from Cornelia to enjoy during the class; nonalcoholic options are available.  

March 28—Felted Landscapes: create a decorative wall piece using a fun felting technique.
April 25—Giftables for your pet: choose from a catnip toy or print a doggie bandana.
May 30—Painted Rocks: create some bling to compliment your garden or indoor greenery
June 27—Mini Dioramas: work on a teeny tiny scale and model your own scene
July 25—Sun Prints: make a unique print using natural light and found objects
August 29—Painted Windows: create an ornamental sun catcher with glass paint 

Intro to Felt Making

Three-Week Series, Ages 16+

Thursdays, May 8, 15, and 22, from 6–8 pm
$150 (Buffalo AKG members save 15%)

Learn techniques of both wet and dry felting and create two new works. Personalize a tote bag or accessory of your choice with dry felting and create a decorative hanging piece using wet felting. All materials provided. Beginners welcome.
