In her sculpture and site-specific public projects, Roberley Bell abstracts natural forms, appropriates manufactured objects, and repurposes artifacts to craft fantastical landscapes that explore aspects of our environment. She is interested in the space where the artificial meets the real and in deconstructing idealized views of nature. Bell strives to employ our imaginations and senses even as we are forced to examine our relationships with the spaces around us.
