Joined by Albright-Knox Curator of Public Art Aaron Ott, Riordan will speak about her sculpture and the acclaim it has received in a conversation moderated by WBFO reporter Ashley Hirtzel. Riordan will also discuss the arc of her artistic career, from the genesis of Shark Girl to her new children’s book, Shark Girl and Belly Button, available in Shop AK. Copies of the book will be available for purchase the night of the talk, and the artist will be available for book signings from 7 to 8 pm.

Doors open at 5:30 pm. Admission is free, but limited to auditorium capacity. Guests will be seated on a first come, first serve basis.
