Information may change due to ongoing research. Glossary of Terms
This is one of twelve lithographs Jean (Hans) Arp modeled after previous works as part of a process of revisiting his earlier compositions. He did this often, sometimes also exploring an image in sculptural form. The images in this album eloquently retain the details of the originals, further exemplifying that, for Arp, the simplest and most comprehensible means of visual expression center on line, area, form, and color.
