Participants were divided into two age groups, and multiple workshops ran for seven hours each day. The goals of the Artcamp were to allow each child the ability to create in a space that welcomed personal freedom as well as offered guidance and suggestion, so that these young artists could develop mastery of their artistic styles and mediums.
Children used materials such red clay, cardboard, spray paint, deco markers, pencils, wood, and felt. Participants often demonstrated a sense of pride in their artistic expression and were eager to participate in future art activities.
Admission to this exhibition is free on M&T FIRST FRIDAYS @ THE GALLERY.
