Students will explore works of Abstract Expressionism in the Albright-Knox’s collection, then return to the classroom to create works focusing on concepts such as expressionism and color.

Students will visit the special exhibition Picasso: The Artist and his Models to explore line and shape, then return to the classroom to create works inspired by what they saw. 

Students will visit the special exhibition Matt Hoyt: Recent Past, 2010–2016 to explore the element of form, then return to the classroom to create their own three-dimensional sculptures.

Join Albright-Knox educators for storytime in the museum. Children and their caregivers will hear the story Press Here, by Hervé Tullet, and create a hands-on art activity based on the book and artwork on view.
