Albright-Knox Northland is committed to creating and fostering a universal environment of accessibility for visitors of all ages. (Our Elmwood Avenue campus is temporarily closed for construction.)

Visitors with Mobility Impairments

Accessible parking is available in Albright-Knox Northland's lot. Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Portable stools are also available; please inquire at the Welcome Desk.

Visitors Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

ASL interpretation is available for tours and programs upon request. To schedule an ASL interpreter, please call 716.270.8249 at least two weeks in advance.

Visitors Who Are Blind or Partially Sighted

Large-print exhibition labels are available for all special exhibitions. Please inquire at the Welcome Desk.

Verbal Description Audio Guides and Audio Guide Navigation Booklets are available for select exhibitions. Please inquire at the Welcome Desk.

Multisensory Tours / Descriptive Teleconference Tours are available at designated times. Participants enjoy in-depth verbal descriptions of works in special exhibitions and experience a selection of objects through touch.

Service animals are welcome at Albright-Knox Northland.

Visitors with Disabilities

Groups of individuals with disabilities are invited to schedule free individualized group sessions through our Creative Connection program. 

Visitors with Dementia

We welcome visitor with dementia and their care partners to our Art Today program.
