Access AK

The Buffalo AKG Art Museum is committed to creating and fostering a universal environment of accessibility for visitors of all ages. Our Access AK programs are uniquely designed to meet the specific needs of their participants and provide visitors with creative learning experiences.

Please note: Access AK programs will resume when the Buffalo AKG Art Museum reopens in the first half of 2023. 

Creative Connection

Organizations that provide services for people with disabilities are invited to schedule free individualized group sessions through our Creative Connection program. (This program will resume in 2023.)

Multisensory Tours

Our free Multisensory Tours welcome adults who are blind or partially sighted to engage with our special exhibitions. (This program will resume in 2023.)

Art Today

We welcome visitors with dementia and their care partners to take part in discussions and multisensory activities followed by a hands-on artmaking experience. (This program will resume in 2023.)
