The Bird’s Nest will give both kids and caregivers a taste of how fun and sneakily beneficial circus arts can be in the form of hula hooping, juggling/prop manipulation and basic partner acroyoga stations that they can rotate through at their leisure. TBN will provide hoops, juggling scarves and balls, flower sticks, balance toys, other props and mats, as well as literature on the benefits of movement and circus arts. Circus arts are proven to improve physical literacy, confidence, motivation, and cognitive function. It can reduce the gender gap in movement, increase social skills, creativity, and resilience.

In gratitude to Erie County for its generous support of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, Play Break is free to Erie County residents!
