Join us for Community Insights, where community members relate their work and experience to the art on view at the Buffalo AKG. This month, join drag queen Vanna Deux as she shares about the art of drag and responds to the museum’s collection.

Vanna Deux is a Western New York–born drag artist making a storm in Buffalo's vibrant queer community. She learned her command of the stage studying at Harvard/Moscow Art Theater School's MFA Acting program, before coming up in New York’s ruthless nightlife scene. Three years ago, looking to reconnect to her WNY roots, she packed up and traded the Big Apple for the Queen City. You can see Vanna all over Buffalo, hosting and performing at many of Buffalo's events.
