#MuseumFromHome: Art Prep Team Works from Home

May 14, 2020

Art Preparator Karl Mattson creates an archival box for small collection works.

While the Albright-Knox is closed, our employees are hard at work from home.

We're highlighting the meticulous work of our Art Prep team as they work from home building archival storage boxes for artworks in our collection. Normally this project would be completed on site but due to social distancing, members of the team have adapted to performing these tasks at home. Here, Karl Mattson is creating an archival box for small collection works and Christine Miller is creating archival boxes for Ernesto De Fiori’s Portrait of the Artist’s Wife,1929; Hermann Haller’s Head of Marie Laurencin, ca. 1920; and Isamu Noguchi’s Head of a Young Girl, 1931.
