In March 2004, the Albright-Knox presented Cookin' at the Knoxa weekend program of fine food and winefeaturing Mary Ann Esposito, a Buffalo native who studied and taught in cooking schools throughout Italy; has her own TV show, Ciao Italia; and has authored many cookbooks on Italian food.

On March 6, Esposito presented two cooking demonstrations in the Auditorium, both followed by book signings. That evening, guests had the opportunity to meet Esposito at a special reception and enjoy appetizers featured in her cookbooks, fine wines, an espresso bar, and Italian pastries, while bidding on items in a food-filled silent auction. On March 7, the museum offered food-themed workshops for children. A gourmet gift gallery was open in the museum on both days.
