Join us for a tour and in-gallery activities that focus on the special exhibition Let Us Gather in a Flourishing Way with Manager of School & Tour Programs Lindsay Kranz.
This exhibition explores fifty-eight contemporary Latinx artists within a variety of themes present in the field of painting. It celebrates artists whose expressions are first and foremost personal and subjective, but whose heterogeneous and culturally specific interventions enrich one another and the history of American and contemporary art, two fields from which such artists have been historically excluded.
Participants will explore the seven thematic groupings of the exhibition while connecting to curriculum and social and emotional learning within the classroom. CTLE credit will be available. Space is limited; pre-registration is required. Please register online or at the Buffalo AKG at the admissions desk.
