General admission: $40
AKG member general admission: $35
Lipsey Auditorium, Knox Building
Join the AKG in the Lipsey Auditorium for a Women’s History Month tribute honoring Grammy Award–winning singer Roberta Flack. Drea d’Nur offers this requiem as a spiritual, immersive portal, using song and sound to hold space for collective grief, remembrance, and presence.
Drea d’Nur, a spirit-led artist, death doula, pianist, and vocalist, approaches music as a living altar—where presence becomes prayer and grief is acknowledged. Through sound and song, she guides communal mourning and memory, inviting audiences to gather, witness, and remember together. Her previous requiem at the Buffalo AKG drew more than 400 attendees, offering a moving encounter with music and memory.
The Requiem will also feature special guest Frank McComb.
Frank McComb is a celebrated American soul/jazz singer, keyboardist, and producer from Cleveland, known for his velvety vocals often compared to Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder, a prolific career working with legends like Prince, Chaka Khan, and Branford Marsalis, and a successful independent path with acclaimed albums like Love Stories and Straight From The Vault.
