About the Elliot Scozzaro Trio:
The Elliot Scozzaro Trio will play a variety of original compositions, Great American Songbook standards, and arrangements of Bebop, Hard Bop, and Post-Bop tunes by artists such as Joe Henderson, Cedar Walton, and Horace Silver.
Elliot Scozzaro is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator from Buffalo, NY. He earned a Master of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas, where he played lead alto saxophone in the seven-time Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band.
In 2016, Elliot was named a semi-finalist in the North American Saxophone Alliance Jazz Competition. He joined the renowned Glenn Miller Orchestra in 2018 and toured throughout the United States, Canada, and Japan.
Elliot currently resides in Buffalo, where he maintains a busy schedule as both a leader and sideman throughout the WNY region. He is a member of Louis Prima Jr. and the Witnesses and tours with Al Stewart and The Empty Pockets.
