While out and about in Western New York, you may have come across some of the monumental sculptures and larger-than-life murals made possible by the Buffalo AKG Public Art Initiative. Behind each installation is an artist and the team of curators and preparators who support the project from its inception to the field.
Join the Public Art department, including Aaron Ott, Curator of Public Art, Zack Boehler, Assistant Curator of Special Projects, and Eric Jones, Public Art Projects Manager, as they share personal stories and experiences working with artists and installing some of Buffalo’s most distinguishable public artworks.
This is Part 2 of a two-part series. Please note: this program will offer content not previously shared in Part 1, so there is something new for all attendees to enjoy.
Registration is required to attend this program.
If you have questions or are an employee of a Corporate Supporter of the Buffalo AKG and would like to reserve tickets, please contact membership@buffaloakg.org.
