In May 2017, the Director’s Travel Series explored some of the most interesting and historically significant art of our times—right in our own backyard! Travelers attended a private viewing of the exhibition Minimal Mostly, organized by former Albright-Knox Board Member Deborah Ronnen, then enjoyed lunch at the Memorial Art Gallery followed by a private tour with Mary W. and Donald R. Clark Director Jonathan Binstock. Finally, we visited the George Eastman Museum with Ron and Donna Fielding Director Bruce Barnes, who, together with Conservator in Charge Taina Meller, gave us a sneak peek into the museum’s conservation space and practices.
