About Notforinkus: 

Brian DeAngleo is an adventurous percussionist and composer who recently relocated to Western New York from Bennington, VT. Informing DeAngelo's practice are his foundational studies at the New School of Social Justice, BFA in Jazz/Contemporary Music, Goddard College MFA-Interdisciplinary Art, music and cultural studies in Senegal and Ghana, and exploration of nonanthropogenic sounds during the Anthropocene. Rounding out DeAngelo’s sound compositions are his interactive sound installations and collaborations with visual artists. His path has led to privileged collaborations with talented musicians including Ahmed Abdullah, Charli Persip, Jon Fishman, Brian Marsella, John Lee, Tim Keiper, Junior Mance, Mike Kammers, Michael Wimberly, George Garzone, Abdou M'Boup, Bernard Woma, Raymond Sylla, M'Baye Rama Djiange, Alisanne Sarr, Mohammed Djiabe, Saakumu, Ramforinkus, and Moose Crossing.
