The music of Western New York’s Baci e Ceci (“kisses and chickpeas”) is your ticket to a cool Italian nightclub… no passport required! Featuring vocalist Kristin Gilmet and instrumentalists Cathy Carfagna (accordion, keyboard, vocals), Dave Meinzer (guitar), Jesse Reiter (bass, vocals) and Dave Gilmet (drums), Baci e Ceci plays upbeat, danceable “beat-pop” tunes made famous in the 1960s by Italian stars including Mina, Adriano Celentano, and Rita Pavone - along with Italian-language versions of classic songs by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Mamas and the Papas, and more.
