Join us for Buffalo's most creative happy hour! After Hours is a program designed to take you behind the scenes at the Buffalo AKG, with innovative, informative, and sometimes unexpected ways to connect with the museum and fellow art lovers. Get closer to the collection and newly revitalized campus, and enjoy complimentary beverages, light snacks, and conversation.
Think you know Marisol? Join Charles Balbach Chief Curator Cathleen Chaffee and Archivist Gabrielle Carlo for the first of two evenings dedicated to the stories behind the objects on view in Marisol: A Retrospective. We will dive into the extensive legacy of the artist, her personal history, and the unique connection she shares with the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Marisol: A Retrospective is on view through January 6, 2025.
This is part one of a two-part series. Registration is required to attend this program.
