Gilbane Building Company is the construction manager for the construction of the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. The company’s team is managing the largest and most significant expansion and renovation of the museum's facilities in its history.

Having completed more than 50 museum facility projects—30 of which were built in the last 10 years alone—Gilbane offers extensive experience with the construction of state-of-the-art cultural facilities throughout the country. Its diverse portfolio of cultural project experience includes the Norton Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Cleveland Museum of Art.
