Kristopher Raos (b. 1987) grew up between Bakersfield, California, where he was born, and Mexico City. Now based in Los Angeles, he transitioned from graffiti art (his street moniker was RAOS, which he adopted as his surname) to a studio practice in 2011 and taught himself to paint professionally, adopting a hard-edge and abstract modernist aesthetic. In his paintings, he reproduces logos, street signage, commercial iconography, and other cultural and urban detritus. Raos has participated in group exhibitions at The Hole, Los Angeles (2024), and BAIK ART, Seoul (2023), among others, and his most recent solo show opened at Charlie James Gallery, Los Angeles, in 2025.

Kristopher Raos nació en 1987, en Bakersfield, California. Creció entre este lugar y la Ciudad de México. Hoy radica en Los Ángeles. Su apodo como grafitero era RAOS, el cual adoptó como apellido. Emprendió la práctica en estudio en 2011 y aprendió a pintar profesionalmente de manera autodidacta. Adoptó una estética modernista abstracta de contornos nítidos. En sus pinturas reproduce logotipos, señalización vial, iconografía comercial y otros residuos culturales y urbanos. Ha participado en exposiciones colectivas en The Hole, Los Ángeles (2024), y BAIK ART, Seúl (2023), entre otras. Su muestra individual más reciente se inauguró en Charlie James Gallery, Los Ángeles, en 2025.
