Join us for the Members’ Preview of Ragnar Kjartansson: Politics of the Obvious. Buffalo AKG members are invited to be among the first to experience the exhibition with members-only early access, a complimentary reception, and complimentary wine, beer, and mocktails. Snacks and beverages are also available for purchase (10% off with member discount, excluding alcohol).

Ragnar Kjartansson: Politics of the Obvious is the second-largest presentation of the Icelandic artist's work ever organized in North America. Spanning more than two decades, the exhibition includes one of the most beloved works of the twenty-first century: The Visitors. It features the North American museum debut of Scaredman, a single live performer balancing on a narrow ledge in the Gundlach Building's soaring double-height gallery, and the US museum debut of the Buffalo AKG’s rousing recent acquisition, the immersive video installation No Tomorrow.
