Voices in Contemporary Art: Let Us Gather in a Flourishing Way

Join us for a conversation between artists rafa esparza, Larry Madrigal, and Sarah Zapata, and Curator Andrea Alvarez, in celebration of Let Us Gather in a Flourishing Way. The artists and curator will discuss the themes of the exhibition, as well as the artists and works on view, highlighting the abundance and complexities within the field of Latinx art.
Free and open to the public; no registration is required. Early arrival is strongly encouraged to secure preferred seating. A recording will be made available following the talk.
Join us the following day on Friday, March 6, for M&T FIRST FRIDAYS, featuring a variety of exhibition-related programming and Pay-What-You-Wish admission.
Accessibility
The Stanford and Judith Lipsey Auditorium is located on the second floor of the Knox Building and can be accessed by the elevator across from the Family Room. There is accessible seating along both sides of the Auditorium, as well as in the two back corners. Assistive Listening Devices and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing are available upon request. To schedule an ASL interpreter for an event, please submit your request at least two weeks in advance. The closest restrooms are on the first floor of the Knox Building in the same hallway as the Moog Inc. Visitor Services Desk.
