On the occasion of the opening of Humble and Human: An Exhibition in Honor of Ralph C. Wilson, Jr., join Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation Life Trustee Mary Wilson, former Buffalo Bills player Thurman Thomas, Peggy Pierce Elfvin Director Janne Sirén, and Godin-Spaulding Curator & Curator for the Collection Holly E. Hughes for a conversation on Ralph C. Wilson and the exhibition.
Featuring more than forty paintings and sculptures from the collections of the Albright-Knox and the Detroit Institute of Arts by artists including Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Camille Pissarro, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Humble and Human has been organized in recognition of Mr. Wilson’s enduring compassion and goodwill toward others.
Due to the popularity of this event, we anticipate capacity attendance. Please plan accordingly, as parking will be at a premium and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
This talk takes place during a public opening for Humble and Human. A Members' opening for the exhibition will precede the talk, from 5 to 7 pm.
