All Collection Highlights
  • Karma, 2010

    Do Ho Suh

Against the white marbled columned exterior of the museum, a life-size muscular male nude, his arms hanging down on either side of his body, stands upright on a metal base. Sitting on his shoulders are a series of identical male nudes squatting one on top of the another, each one smaller than the one below. Each figure holds his hands over the eyes of the figure beneath him.
  • La Maison de La Crau (The Old Mill), 1888

    Vincent van Gogh

Loose thick brushstrokes in a vibrant palette define a rural scene beneath a turquoise green sky. On the right is a tall sandy colored building with a yellow roof and brownish-red chimney. Steps leads from the structure toward the left-hand side of the image, where, two people stand in front of a purple fence. Beyond the fence and toward the upper left of the image are green fields dotted with small houses and blue mountains in the far distance.
  • The Inverted Sink, 1985

    Robert Gober

A large white plaster sculpture that takes the form of a thick, inverted V hangs from a blue-gray wall. The apex of the V comes to a sharp point whereas the left and right corners are curved.
  • Ocean Park No. 66, 1973

    Sol LeWitt

Wall Drawing # 1268: Scribbles: Staircase (AKAG)
  • 100 Cans, 1962

    Andy Warhol

The front-facing, red, gold, and white labels of one hundred cans of Campbell’s Condensed Beef Noodle Soup fill this vertically oriented canvas. The cans are organized in a tight grid of ten rows and ten columns. The bottoms of the last row of cans are cut off so that only the upper halves of these cans are visible.
  • Corazón de roca con sangre (Heart of Rock with Blood), 1975

    Ana Mendieta

First of two images. Still from a video of the artist naked on the banks of a river, which is just visible in the upper-right corner of the image. She kneels on the leaf-covered ground, staring at the silhouette of a female figure dug into the earth in shallow relief.
