Please join us for a rare opportunity to hear a talk by the renowned British artist Andy Goldsworthy when he visits Buffalo to complete two major works on the Albright-Knox’s grounds.

“For me,” the artist has said, “looking, touching, material, place, and form are all inseparable from the resulting work. It is difficult to say where one stops and another begins. Place is found by walking, direction determined by weather and season.”

Sensitive to their context and to natural cycles, Goldsworthy’s works on the Gallery’s grounds are woven into the fabric of the landscape and the seasons. We hope you will join us to learn more about this fascinating artist and his work.

Learn more about Goldsworthy's Path, 2012–13, currently in progress on the Gallery's grounds.

Enjoy a happy hour in AK Café from 5:30 to 7 pm, before the lecture, for an additional $20 per person. Includes one drink and an hors d’oeuvres buffet.

This event is sold out!
