On November 13, 1992, artist Susan Rothenberg visited the Albright-Knox for the opening of her exhibition Susan Rothenberg: Paintings and Drawings. Featuring more than eighty of the artist’s paintings and drawings, including examples of her powerfully simple depictions of horses made during the 1970s, the exhibition chronicled Rothenberg’s development over the preceding two decades.
