The art of Patricia Iglesias Peco (b. 1974) is attuned to the vibrancy of the natural world. She renders rambunctious gardens of flora and fauna in oil paint. Flowers allow her to exercise her formal interest in painting and color theory—vegetal bodies caught in whirling gestures of bloom and decay, a choreography of endless beginnings. Iglesias Peco lives and works in Los Angeles. She has participated in several solo and group shows, including at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art; François Ghebaly, Los Angeles; and Gladstone Gallery, New York, among others. She is currently employed as a Teaching Artist at Barnsdall Arts Center, Los Angeles, where she leads workshops emphasizing observation, cultural heritage, and creative confidence.

Patricia Iglesias Peco, nacida en 1974, vive y trabaja en Los Ángeles. Su arte se sintoniza con la vibración del mundo natural. Representa jardines rebosantes de flora y fauna en pinturas al óleo.
