Join the AKG for a plein air painting workshop inspired by Northern Lights. Led by Emma Brittain, a seasoned teaching artist, this workshop invites participants to step outside and respond directly to the environment through observational drawing and painting.

Beginning with a guided tour of the exhibition, participants will explore how landscape painters have captured atmosphere, light, and place, then will venture to nearby outdoor locations to create their own landscape studies, applying techniques and ideas drawn from the show.

Open to artists of all levels, this workshop encourages a deeper connection between art, nature, and personal expression. Prepare for a day of creative exploration under the open sky. All materials will be provided (but you are welcome to bring your own).
