About the Author

Micah Nathan is an American novelist and essayist. His works have been translated into five languages, and include the bestselling novels Gods of Aberdeen (Simon & Schuster, 2005) andLosing Graceland (Random House, 2011), along with the collection Jack the Bastard and Other Stories (One Peace Books, 2012). He was the 2010 recipient of Boston University’s Saul Bellow Prize for Fiction. His essays have received an Associated Press Award of Excellence, and his short stories have been finalists for the Tobias Wolff Award and the Innovative Fiction Award. Nathan's work has appeared in the Paris ReviewBest American Mystery StoriesBoston Globe MagazineGlimmer Train, the Gettysburg Review, and Vanity Fair, where he is a frequent contributor.
