Join us for a conversation with Albright-Knox Curator Heather Pesanti and the New York–based artist Barnaby Furnas. They will discuss the Albright-Knox’s recent acquisition of Furnas’s Flood, 2007, as well as the artist’s connections to Expressionism and abstraction, the performative nature of his work, and his interest in epic themes and non-traditional materials.

Barnaby Furnas’s Flood is on view in the special exhibition Surveyor, February 18–June 5, 2011.
