On Saturday, November 14, the Albright-Knox hosted Aurora Borealis, a gala in honor of the opening of Monet and the Impressionist Revolution1860–1910 and celebrating the landmark exhibitions Looking at Tomorrow: Light and Language from the Panza Collection, 1967–1990 and Eija-Liisa Ahtila: Ecologies of Drama.

The evening included a cocktail reception in the Sculpture Court of the 1905 Building, featuring a screening of the museum’s new AK360 video, and dinner amid the masters of Impressionism in the 1962 Building. Following a Nordic-inspired menu created by the culinary master chefs of Delaware North—celebrating 100 years as global leader in hospitality—guests mingled among Monet’s masterworks.

The Albright-Knox extends its sincerest appreciation to Presenting Sponsor Delaware North, Möet Hennessy USA, The Floristry, and Advantage Technology Integration. The museum also extends its appreciation to M&T Bank, generous sponsors of Monet and the Impressionist Revolution1860–1910. Thank you also to all of the evening’s guests who attended and supported this event, which is so vital to the museum.

All proceeds benefit the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
