2017 Future Curators

The 2017 Future Curators team consisted of 20 students in grades 11 and 12:

From January to April 2017, this creative team of young aspiring art professionals learned what goes on behind the scenes at the Albright-Knox and used the museum's collection and special exhibitions to think about art from the mindset of a curator.

The 2017 Future Curators' exhibition of artwork by local high school students—Exposition—was on view at the Albright-Knox from Friday, April 21, through Sunday, May 14, 2017, with an exhibition opening celebration planned by the team on Thursday, April 20, from 5 to 8 pm. It was also on view at the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology (BCAT) from April 7 through April 27, 2017, with an exhibition celebration on Thursday, April 27, from 5 to 6:30 pm.
