In cooperation with the Forest Lawn Heritage Foundation and the Board of Directors of Forest Lawn Cemetery, the museum presented this exhibition of photographs by Buffalo photographers Stanford Lipsey and Seth Colby. Composed of more than 50 stunning photographs in color, Forest Lawn: Buffalo History Preserved was a compilation of images from the commemorative book of the same name, published in memory of Laurence R. Goodyear. The book covers nearly 150 years of Forest Lawn, a historic cemetery of transcendent beauty, with significant funerary architecture and more than 144,000 grave sites that chronicle the social history of Buffalo.

This exhibition was organized by the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in conjunction with the Forest Lawn Heritage Foundation.
